PAT 'THE CAT' PRICE (trumpet) Pat has been 'doing the circuit' for several years and has trumpeted with 'about eight bands' prior to joining Dr Funkenstein. The sole survivor of eight fatal accidents which have seen all other members of each of the bands perish, he claims not to recall having met Phil at any stage before joing the Feelgood Factor. His former nickname, 'lucky', seemed inappropriate and so he agreed to take on his current name in the hope that his ninth life lasts longer than the rest. Rumours that he is now always on the prowl for more promising pussy are 'nothing to do with me' but 'could hold some element of truth'.PHIL 'ELEPHANT MAN' EVANS (saxophone/percussion) Phil was born at a very early age and was left in the jungle to fend for himself. Unfortunately, he couldn't and had to be raised by a herd of elephants. Along with the propensity for consuming peanuts came a desire for a trunk which seemed a vital appendage. The extremely fortuitous plane crash which killed The Memphis Belle Ends left him with the tenor sax he had always craved but also tragically wiped out his elephant brotherhood. His tunes of lament were heard by Dr. Funkenstein on his jungle mercy mission. The rest, as you know, is myth. Earlier claims that his name relates to the size of his horn are not to be believed. SCOTT 'THE ROCK' NICOL (trombone)Scott has endured the longest sentence of any of the horns - not just for Dr Funkenstein and the Feelgood Factor but also as a result of his early misdemeanours - in the comfort of Alcatraz. During his stay at the U.S. Government's pleasure he found he had plenty of time to concentrate on his slide technique and spent hours greasing his bone and dreaming of his date with destiny. Destiny never came and upon release he was assigned to the band as a condition of parole. The fact that the band has become hugely popular means that Scott no longer considers his past such a bad thing, and he has also recently got engaged to Destiny (aka Louise). CLOSE FOLDER
